Hi,
It is actually a good topic for discussion. You are right Share auto is big crisis for People. In most of the places where there is no proper bus, the share auto help a lot as the fare for the share auto is also low compared to the bus fair. Recently the government has also increased the bus fair and due to this people now mostly prefer to go in share auto instead of the bus as the bus rates are higher than the share auto rates.
If there is going to be some impact on the Share auto fares by government then it will still be no change as most of the people prefer share auto instead of Buses. This drastic increase in the bus fares has already created a serious impact on people and now they think the Share auto is some alternative for them. If there is going to be some change to the share auto fares because of the impact of the government, then there will be a serious problem. People will definitely become more angry on the government.

If share auto could be run at a lower cost then why not the government could give permission to more share autos instead of taking action against this. Do our state government is suffering from financial crisis or it supports rise in price?

Government should support share autos instead of taking action against them since common man are the beneficiary from it. I prefer share auto than bus during peak hours.

Hi,
There is actually some problem in allowing share autos. Already we can see lots of traffic in Guindy and other areas where share auto is active. If demand for share auto is more then the count of share auto will be more and this will end up in mess. And also people wont prefer bus. This will be a great revenue loss for the government. This is the reason why government will not be giving permission for share autos in Chennai.

Yes it is obvious that the share autos affecting the Government's revenue but Government transportation is to support the people. If people like to travel in share auto then why not the government transport would start a share auto service, which people likes, to increase their revenue, instead of taking action against them.

Share autos connects many small towns. As the private share auto owners are trying to earn more they make the auto over crowded and pave way for the accidents. Strict rules could be made to avoid this.
Share autos help the common people very much as the share autos are available very now and then. Government should take efforts for the welfare of the people and allow more share autos in the rural areas. Places with more traffic share autos can be decreased.
