TRAI Aannounces 200 sms Per day for Telecom consumers

Telecom consumers will now be able to send up to 200 SMSes per day from a SIM, as against the earlier limit of just 100 SMSes per day imposed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI).This will be a good news for SMS lovers. Most of the users sure will be Happy by this Announcement.

To deter unsolicited SMSes by telemarketing companies, Trai had earlier restricted the number of non-commercial SMSes that can be send from a SIM to 100. There was no restriction on commercial messages sent through telemarketing companies registered with Trai.

This announcement will be effective from Nov 1 2011 Onwards.

    Hello Friends,
It is certainly a good step taken by the government of India to increase the number of SMS from 100 to 200. It was the students who are highly benefited from these SMS. There was lots of opposition by the students especially to remove the barrier made by the government but as now the 200 SMS have been made it will be welcomed by almost all the people and it will be good to have no higher number of SMS and no lower number of SMS as that of the previous times.

    Hi to all TSR

I welcome the new anouncement made by TRAI. SMS are indeed a economic telecommunicating service. Many chat over this fecility and enjoy. When the rule came to on act that only one hundred sms per day many were really disturbed by this.

Even if there is free msg or balance in the mobile we can't send a small information to any one after 100 sms on that day. SMS serves as a easy way to communicate with our friends.

On some special occassions like festival times the free sms is not given to the customer by more over all the networks. If TRAI stops this the customers will be more happy .

Defeat the defeat, before the defeat defeats you

    Regards
