These are the political tricks to attract people. It is a basic thing all the politician will do. If he doesn't visit this disaster then he will loss his image in society. After some days people too forget about mayor. Politicians forget about the people during middle 3 years of their post. It is good if the politician don't do any mischievous acts.
We can't say surely all the politicians are bad. They are forced to do bad things due to surrounding. Now in T-Nagar the people were asked to not dig the ground. They have been cautioned by soil research department.
Every politician meets public when the matter is serious. But during immediately after the election or prior to elections they visit public to create publicity. These logic is used by all Indian Politician.
