The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr.J.Jayalalitha, announced in the Tamil Nadu assembly on 08.08.2011(Yesturday that the Government of Tamil Nadu will implement the Samacheer Kalvi if the Supreme Court is going to pass an order to implement it in this academic year.
The Supreme Court of India passed a verdict on today morning(09.08.2011) by 10.30 AM that the Goverment of Tamil nadu should implement the Samacheer Kalvi in this year within 10 days. After the Judgment is passed, The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr.J.Jayalalitha announced in the Tamil Nadu assembly today (09.08.2011) by 11.00 AM that The Government of Tamil Nadu will implement the Samacheer Kalvi in this Year as per the order of Supreme Court. But for the past two months, She made many files in various courts against the Samacheer Kalvi.

Hats off to Supreme court of India. After getting mass frustrations from the political setup, the common people expect their betterment from the court. Nowadays the judiciary plays the role of Government. The case exist with the central government too. The Supreme court of India bound to enter into the political matter to resolve the issue but in actual the issues should be solved by the government of Tamilnadu. So, now the democratic government is doing nothing than just by obeying the orders of Supreme court.
This is really a wonderful decision to implement samacheer kalvi but the syllabus should not be politically influenced. All politicians should learn the bit 'never play with the life of children'.

Thank you for implementing the forum on the topic regarding implementation of Samacheer Kalvi. This is a welcoming decision by the judges of Supreme court of India. This was a great issue ran over every where in Tamil Nadu as it is a thing related to the Education of the students of Tamil Nadu. Now a good decision has came and the obstacle got relieved now. This decision will relly help m,any students of Tamil Nadu to compete in Entrance exams to Score more and this syllabus covers the basics of everything to a good depth.
