- #4391Hi friend,
She have blended her thoughts in every discussion made in the previous rule of DMK.Her thought of Anna University Unification,Ban of Samacheer Kalvi, Change of Secretariat etc., have made a great confusion and useless worry among the students and the people of Tamil Nadu. Now its her time to create something in the Railway transport and moved for the new idea of Mono rails.Mono rails are different from metro rails on the fact that this Mono rails have their own guideways and it has a inbuilt arrangement for its support. The sidewalls are elongated and proceeds downwards and clamps the way through which it runs.It can also carry more passengers as that of the metro rails and I think that the cost of laying rail tracks and cost of mono rails are lower than those of metroes. It can be made to pass through even through the cities on the sides of bridges on specific tracks. So that it can connect more parts of the city.
The main reason which I think is, she may be in vengeance and so she is stopping all those projects, funds, ideas that were propounded by DMK party.
Mono rail projects have got ended in failure in many countries. Hence, metro rail was preferred by the ex-ministry. Also, if they start the mono rail project now, it is very difficult that they can't end it within 5 years. If again the ruling party changes in the election after 5 years, then the new party which comes to the throne will stop this. Hence, it goes by this way and not ends.
Practice makes perfect..
- #4426Metro rail or Mono Rail. We need a better traffic, congestion free. Some claim that Metro Rail is successful in more than 100 countries. In some countries Mono Rail is effective. In the name of expansion or infrastructure development, people are put to hardship. MRTS project was planned in late 80s and early 90s. Even after 20 years it is incomplete.
Whatever may be the project, it should be funded fully and completed without putting traffic out of gear.
