What do you think is the most preferred job in Tamilnadu?

Government jobs were given more preference in the past and they feel that it is more secured. Nowadays there are many types of jobs offered in the private sector with high salary. Though these jobs are not secure like the government jobs they are preferred more for the salary. Due to the growth of foreign companies unemployment problems have vanished.

Hi friend,

Until the population gets controlled there will surely be unemployment problem.According to my point of view,the private sectors are unsecured but still they are very much reliable compared to government job.
For the Government sector there is always a crowd to cross the ladder for government posts.So, government jobs are always somewhat tough one.
But in the case of the Private sectors, we have the right to choose the one and get into that with the expectations what they have.
Most of the country men now prefer private sector based jobs compared to Government sectors.

Hi Mangala,

You are wrong. Tamil Nadu people always love Government Jobs.Do you watch TNPSC, BANK exams ? vacancy will be 500 to 3000 but candidates applied for those kind of exams are very very huge. For example in 2010 VAO exam, vacancy is only 3884 all over Tamil Nadu, but more than 9 lakh candidates wrote this exam.. What is reason? Tamil Nadu people always give high perference to Government Jobs. Compared to 2000 how many bank coaching centers are there in our city today. As per today some of our government department cancelled pension schemes. But Government jobs will not loose its priority.

I agree with you in unemployment status, Due to the growth of foreign companies, unemployment reduced much. It shows healthy growth of our state.

Hi,
I too agree with Mrs. Vathsala. Most of the people in Tamil Nadu want to go for Government jobs only. In the Group 1 TNPSC exam, which was conducted on 5 June 2011, for 131 posts nearly 1.5 lakhs people wrote the exam. This will clearly show about the interest of people towards government jobs.

Many go for private jobs due to their family situations. For government job, we have to wait some time whereas in private we can search and join immediately. Hence, most of the people in Tamil Nadu are interested in government jobs.
