Whats wrong in it? Put yourself in that place and see the scene coming in front of you, how do you feel happy like Ravana laughing loud in Ramayana, its all in the game folks.
Remember when you were angry withsome in school or college days even for that matter now, how do you feel when you defeat someone who has always been your enemy for lifetime, its the same please our new CM gets in doing this, I know its getting personal so what there is no other option , its all fair in politics and sports is the new saying!

samachir kalvi is a good education method. But our CM changed this why this happens? I will not agree with kiran kumar.. what are you trying to say? is politics games and our Tamil Nadu is playground. Not like that CM Should work for us. Whatever matter behind this decision of our CM, this will not affect our children studies. Either Samchir kalvi nor Current system will not affect our children. but this decision of our CM, made people to think that "CM Starts her war".

Hi Kiran, Your reply is really a shock. She is elected by the people of TN and she should serve for them and its her duty. if she has any personal things with DMK & Karunanidhi then she should deal with them directly. because of her action, only MK gets affected then no one is going to question it publicly.
I think she doesn't learn anything from her past mistakes. TN people especially first time voters in the past 2011 election has much hope on her. Hope she didn't get any suitcases from private school mafias and wont disappoint the young voters.

Merchants of education continuously were opposing samachchir kalvi.They have influenced the Tamil nadu govt.CM has declared to continue samachchir kalavi.But the new books are below the standard.so a new ccommittee will analyse the books.our question is who has said the standard is low with which scale they found this.?It is very clear that the ego is not the reason.Her policy is not equality as she studied church park convent ooty .So it is the voice of Arjuna who cut the thumb of Eklaiva by force of govt power and Rama who killed Sambugan who studied Veda and who belonged to nonadmitted caste to study veda

Why you people are blaming her only. I don't think she took this decision because of her personal reason. She has lots of places is there to show her angry against DMK.
So don't blame her. Government taking one decision means, defiantly some reasons should be there.
yes, I too accept that, Samachir Kalvi is needed one for TN. But you have to look one thing, before leaving, what based they(DMK) desired this and which comity suggest these books are looking good ?.
one more thing,Recently i heard, in that New books lots of good things (our Tamil religions culture & Grammars and lots of things are there without quality) are missing it seems.
She take control 10 days before only. give a chance to her and lets we see.
End of the year tell the same thing, if it all her current education system is not well means.
So lets we see.

As you said she took control just 10 days before only. Then how she judged that quality of books are low and which experts suggest her to go with old way? If some flaws are in the new books then it can overcome by upcoming years instead of her decision.
For more than 20 years everyone talked (including ADMK) about Samachir Kalvi. Atlast it came true in 2010 and it was successful also. Now she destroyed everything like what she did for sethusamuthram project.

A good govt should interfere for good.Non interference means allowing looting in the name education.Free education bill had been passed in parliament and private schools are torturing our children.A mother who could not remit the fees for her child suicides herself last week in tamilnadu.The child is to join 1st std from UKG.So all should raise our voice for free edn and new books

There is no doubt that Samacheer Kalvi is a must in Tamilnadu. But it also needs to be seen that it is implemented with quality contents and useful educative information in it.
What Jayalalitha had said is that Samacheer Kalvi will not be implemented this year. she said that the quality of the material is not to the standards (which is very much true) and will be analyzed by experts before it is implemented effectively. Efficient leaders require a day to analyze things and not days.
Karunanidhi has simply pushed it in its early stage (as was done with the new Secretariat building) to take due credit that it was implemented during his period.
Politics at its very best now in education as well.

How do you and JJ know about the quality of materials? Have you gonr through all the books or JJ gone through within 10 days? whether she got any input from educationalist experts about the quality? If yes, then who are all those experts? How can you say previous government didn't analyzed with experts? Previous year itself they implemented it for 1st and 6th Standard.

My opinion is that there is some stuff in the old text books but in the Samacheer Kalvi books there is no usual standard compared to Matriculation Syllabus.For making a whole Tamil Nadu to be specialized in the field of Education the Samacheer Kalvi Books are to be made into existence with necessary standard topics to help students think and understand more.According to Einstein,"The things should be made Simple but not Simpler".The aiming of Samacheer(common) syllabus is a best thing and that is to be appreciated.

Matric standard is not the parameter of education.Samachchir means that balancing the four streams namely matric,anglo indian ,state board and oriental of education systems .So it is the calculated and best syllabus acceptable to all over Tamilnadu.If it is not enough one can join in CBSE pattern .So the new books should be used immediately

Not only me, every educated person can judge the quality of the materials by going through the syllabus and materials. I have personally seen the materials and to my opinion they are not up to the standards when compared to the regular course materials.
I would also like you to have a look at it and come to a fair judgement before criticizing it. After all, it's our children who are going to be put to test in future and it is our duty to see to that they get quality education up to the standards.
Once again I reatriate that Samacheer Kalvi with quality standards is a must in Tamilnadu.

Though you have gone through all new books and some of us have not gone through them,it would not justify the stanard of books.the question is that they are prepared by a group of educationists and they should be neglected also by educationists.The process would reveal its standard.
standard should not be high.It should balance all tamilians .-poor and rich ;village and cities ,.upper castes and suppressed .They should come equal at least in education .For that the standard of these books are very good ,the educationists say.

Do you think matriculation syllabus are good? What is the use of more syllabus without understanding? You might have solved so many problems and learned so many theories in maths during your study. Have you remember atleast half of them? Are you using it in your day to day life? Quantity of Syllabus doesn't matter.

Recently Government released guide book temporarily. In 12th Tamil Guide, following contents are available
"கலக்கிய வசனம்' என்ற தலைப்பில், "இந்த பாட்ஷா ஒரு தடவை சொன்னா நூறு தடவை சொன்ன மாதிரி' - பாட்ஷா ரஜினி.
"அடைந்தால் மகாதேவி இல்லையேல் மரணதேவி' - பி.எஸ்.வீரப்பா.
"இலக்கியத்தில் அறிவியல்' என்ற தலைப்பில், "இன்னிசை பாடி வரும்...' - துள்ளாத மனமும் துள்ளும் விஜய்.

These texts are not taken from Samacheer Text books. These lines have been taken from the guidelines books released by JJ govt for temporary purpose until final verdict given by Supreme Court.
