It is sufficient if all states follow the national river water sharing norms.

First of all we should come to an understanding that people should not fight with each other. All are human beings.all should live in harmony. All should share the natural resources.Hundred years back it was enough to cultivate in Karnataka and Tamil nadu .Now it is not enough .so the issue .Cauvery flows from Karnataka and runs through TamilNadu. Now warter is very costly. They feel their wealth is flowing to TamilNadu .So they want to curtail it.They need more for agriculture which is largely increased after 100 years .So they hesitate to allow. The forces want to get political gains ,want to precipitate it and raise hue and cry Don't give water to Tamilnadu.Innocent people follow them .So ths should be handled carefully and through dialogue.Patience should prevail in both sides. If the water of Ganges could be shared by India and Bangla desh why could not we ,after all ,we are Indians

Cauvery problem exist from British rule itself. The problem wont get solved until unless all the water resources are nationalized.

    Hi Dude,

I accept Vasudeven point. Instead of fighting/blaming each other, we have to start to think what is other resources/ways. Instead of using words we have to find different ways.

Our Government has to find other resources and they has to organize properly based on our needs.

National river water plans and converting sea water as drinking water all are good for our feature.

I forget to tell you one thing, surviving with out cauvery water is difficult for our formers, same way politicians can't survive with out Cauvery issues.

Better we have start fight with our politicians instead of Karnadaka, we can get better solution for this issue soon.

    Hope full day ....!

    Best Regards,

Why should we give up our rights? Tamil Nadu has full rights for Cauvery water. TN can think of other resources for additional need. But give up Cauvery is not at all acceptable. Then why should we be a part of India?

This issue is very sensible and needs to be dealt very carefully. It has been politicized exponentially so that no body wants to share their wealth with our own people. Any decision in cauvery issue will definitely reflects in the next election and politicians do not want to take any chance out of it. Nationalisation of water resource seems to be the only solution for this issue, else it will continue for decades.
