Tipupur is called as knit city of tamilnadu as its famous for t.shirt and other clothes manufactuing happens and lot of export takes place from there, you get clothes at production rate from them and its supplied throughout india, But be aware mostly the seconds or rejected shipments only is sold within india though there are fresh pieces also manufactured for indian customers. It all depends on how you deal with them during the trade.
I guess there is some problem currently faced by the industry there as its facing issues from government on pollution control.

Hi friend,
Tiruppur is always famous for its cotton and knitting industry.It is great city which was first included with Coimbatore district.But now it is excluded from Coimbatore and stands on its own.
The fact which is drives the Tiruppur towards a negative attitude is that the mixing of dying materials and wastes from the factory in to the rivers and drinking water ponds.
These should be taken care of and should be controlled efficiently to make the city stand in the top of pollution free environment and in the cotton textile industry.

You are exactly correct Arul. We should be proud about Tirupur city is compared with Japan, popularly called Kutty Japan for its Fabric industry.
But very horrible thing is the soil and water pollution occurring due to this dye industries waste. The mixing of this factory waste cause skin and respiratory problem.
The growth of Tirupur in Cotton industry is considered as special but the environmental pollution must be rectified as soon as possible by using some alternative methods in dying industry.

Yes manoharan you are exactly correct, tirupur is one of the most famous and perfect place for Textile and Cotton materials which seems very great Industrial area and also many dieing and cloths are available.
