It seems Prabhas has never been to Tirupur before. Pls dont mind Prabhas and my intention is not hurting you.
Tirupur ofcourse one of the very important industrial city in India.
It contributes more than 65% of garments exports of India and generates huge foreign exchange. Its the heaven for daily labours and job seekers. Wherever you go you will find a board in front of any garment company seeking workers. It is purely a cosmopolitan city which houses North, South, East and West Indian people.
When it comes to tourist attractions, it is pity that there is not even a single place to leisure out except the movie halls. You need to travel to Ooty, Valparai, Tirumurthy Hills, Aliyar dam etc which is less than 150 kms from Tirupur. Even though it is close to Coimbatore, the climate is pretty hot throughout the year because of industrial pollution. You will able to see only dying wastes in Noyal river which is not at all usable for anything.
Tirupur is known as industrial city rather than for any tourist attractions.
