Vishwanathan Anand was born on 11 December 1969 at Mayiladuthurai; Tamilnadu. His father had been a manager in Indian railways and his mother is a housewife.His elder brother works as a manager in a private company and his sister is a teacher. His hobbies are reading and listening songs. He is a commerce graduate from Loyola College.
