TamilNadu Newsprint and Papers Limited alias TNPL was founded on 1984 by TamilNadu Government. TNPL produces Printing and Writing papers by using sugarcan residue as raw material.
Corporate office of TNPL is located in Chennai. It is second largest paper producer in Asia. It gives direct employment to 1750 people and Indirect employment to 5000 people.
TNPL is an ISO 9001:2000 company.
